Cookie Policy

Version 0.1 · Last updated: August 31, 2026

Where things stand today

As of this page's last update, the Clanio website (clanio.co) does not use cookies — no advertising cookies, no analytics tools, no tracking identifiers. It's a static page. In the app too, as of today, there's no use of external analytics tools or targeted advertising — see our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser, usually to remember information between visits — like being logged in, a preferred language, or anonymous usage data for analytics.

2. Categories we may use later

We're planning to add capabilities down the road that will require cookies. When that happens, we'll update this policy before activation and show a notice or consent mechanism on the site as needed. The expected categories:

  • Essential cookies — required for basic site function, such as remembering your language choice (Hebrew/English) or menu state. Usually don't require separate consent.
  • Performance/analytics cookies — may be used to understand which pages are viewed and how the site experience can improve, in aggregate and not tied to your identity.
  • Marketing cookies — not in use today and no near-term plan to activate them; if that changes, we'll ask for separate, explicit consent in advance.

3. When we do activate cookies

Before activating any non-essential cookies, we'll show a banner or cookie settings on the site letting you accept, decline, or manage your preferences, and we'll update this policy's version number and date.

4. Local storage in the app

Separately from the website, the Clanio app stores sign-in tokens and essential operational data on-device to keep you logged in — this is local app storage, not a browser cookie. See our Privacy Policy for details.
